About MBPC

Purpose:  The Michigan Black Presbyterian Caucus (MBPC), with a legacy spanning over 50 years, actively combats racism and injustice. within the Presbyterian Church. Representing a growing alliance of nine churches, we are deeply committed to community engagement through our diverse programs. Our Workshops aim to enlighten and inspire, our Kwanzaa celebrations honor cultural heritage, and our annual picnics foster fellowship and unity. We also host enriching Vacation Bible School sessions, observe Martin Luther King Day to reaffirm our commitment to social justice and energize community spirit. Through these initiatives, alongside with Camperships, Scholarships for our youth, and Mentorship Programs to support Pastoral leadership, we uphold our mission to cultivate community engagement, education, and awareness to combat racism.
